Its just a thought last yr I had Lily Beetle which is originally from Asia. As this is the coldest winter for yrs do you think we will see as many imported pests and diseases, as we have, or will they have been killed off by the winter.
I'm looking forward to crown imperials this yr as last they were devastated by the dreaded LB
haven't really been in the garden much or the unheated green house we are still seeing - temp most mornings (-5 this morning)

It would be quite some compensation for the cold winter we've just endured.

We can but hope Poly, but these bugs do seem very adaptable

Lily Beetle is active in Norfolk. It was on the radio gardening programme on Saturday.

Maybe Poly has a point after all they don't seem to like the cold. They've migrated north during the warmer years but after this winter, who knows?

I think they'll all be lurking underground, nice & cosy & warm!
