| Well I wouldn't pay that, but on Sunday there was a programme about snowdrops being stolen. I was in the garden, so couldn't listen. |

It’s amazing isn’t it? I was watching some on Ebay and couldn’t believe the money they were making.
The ones that were making the most on Ebay were ones which had naturally hybridised and were found in a wood in Devon.
We walk round our garden to see if we can spot one that looks different, we could be sitting on a fortune. Unfortunately we have thousands of doubles and singles and they all look a little different, we could have a unique one but wouldn’t know, to us they are just snowdrops.
We thought about getting an expert round to have a look, but the thought is as far as it got and will be as far as it will ever get. |

| Nope, I wouldn't pay anything like that, there are a lot of gullible people on Ebay though who will pay stupid amounts in auctions for anything because they get carried away. One snowdrop looks pretty much the same as another to me, they're all lovely. |

| I certainly wouldn't pay those sort of prices, I'd be frightened to put it in the garden |

It’s always the more expensive plants I’ve treated myself too that die in my garden. |
